European Conference on Queueing Theory
July 2 - 4, 2018
Jerusalem, Israel

Overview

Following three successful meetings of the Madrid Conference on Queueing Theory (MCQT), organized by Jesús Artalejo, it was decided to continue MCQT in a European scope: European Conference on Queueing Theory (ECQT). The first two ECQT meetings were held in Ghent (2014) and in Toulouse (2016). The upcoming ECQT will be held July 2-4, 2018, in Jerusalem, Israel.

ECQT is an international forum for scientists and practitioners of Queueing Theory from around the globe. ECQT covers the full spectrum of the field: basic theory, methodologies, computation, applications, and connections to other scientific fields. ECQT 2018 will be preceded by a Students Day Satellite which will take place July 1, will host the 2018 Takacs Award ceremony for outstanding PhD thesis, and will be proceeded by special issues of the journals Performance Evaluation (PEVA) and Queueing Systems (QUESTA). ECQT 2018 offers a rich social-events program, and its participants will have the opportunity of exploring and enjoying the outstanding World City of Jerusalem.
